May 2006 I participated in a short term mission's trip to Andalucia, Spain. God called me to go on this trip two years before when I was laying in a hospital bed, healing my body that I willingly chose to destroy. Like many things God calls us to do, we don't know why but we step out in faith.
On this trip to Spain, I was introduced to a society I was unfamiliar and uncomfortable with. I thought that it was mistake to travel across the ocean and be so disappointed. But God revealed to me why He sent me so far away from home. He wanted me to start a program that encourages women and men with eating disorders. The same disease that I fought just a few years ago- the disease that almost took my life.
This blog is about plans and ideas the Spirit shows me through His Word and the wisdom of others. Thank you so much for being a part of this experience!
